Trivia

The producers were able to get permission from Lucasfilm to cameo some of the characters from the Star Wars films and to include some jokes in it. However, one character they were unable to do so was Kylo Ren. The script originally had a joke where Vanellope calls Kylo a spoiled child. Upon showing the idea, they requested directors Rich Moore and Phil Johnston not show that for it sounded disrespectful for the character who is the principal villain in the current Star Wars trilogy. Goofs

Sonic the Hedgehog once said that if a character dies in a different game that they wouldn't be able to regenerate. However, the crash of Vanellope and Ralph's light-cycles in "Tron" did not technically kill them. They were merely frame-frozen in mid-air due to the virus affecting that part of the game. Yesss: Yes.
Vanellope: Can I? Can I? Can I? Can I? Can I?
Yesss: [annoyed] You're perfect!
[She gives Vanellope a popup board]
Yesss: Here!
[Vanellope happily walks off with the board]

Boring and Commercial

This movie reminded me of why I actually go to the movies: to forget the internet exists. I haven't seen the Emoji movie, but Ralph is what I would have guessed the Emoji movie was like.
