Circa 1968, several strangers, most with a secret to bury, meet by chance at Lake Tahoe's El Royale, a rundown hotel with a dark past. Over the course of one night, everyone will show their true colors - before everything goes to hell.
Bohemian Rhapsody is a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury. Freddie defied stereotypes and shattered convention to become one of the most beloved entertainers on the planet. The film traces the meteoric rise of the band through their iconic songs and revolutionary sound. They reach unparalleled success, but in an unexpected turn Freddie, surrounded by darker influences, shuns Queen in pursuit of his solo career. Having suffered greatly without the collaboration of Queen, Freddie manages to reunite with his bandmates just in time for Live Aid. While bravely facing a recent AIDS diagnosis, Freddie leads the band in one of the greatest performances in the history of rock music. Queen cements a legacy that continues to inspire outsiders, dreamers and music lovers to this day.Written by

Whilst not addressed in the film, the famous Bohemian Rhapsody promotional video was made because the band didn't want to go on the BBC show 'Top of the Pops' to promote the single with a live performance. The actual video itself was shot on a Saturday on 1 inch video tape by a professional film crew hired from Thames Television's 'Benny Hill Show'. The whole shoot amazingly took less than half a day and the finished video tape was handed to the band the next day. A copy was then made and taken over to the BBC for review so it could be included for transmission on the Thursday. See more »

The Critics where wrong about the song in 1975,and they are wrong about the movie in 2018
This movie is a must see for any music and movie lover
Queen fan or no Queen fan, anyone who sees this movie will be going through a rollercoaster of Emotions
Beeing it Queens music or the story behind the music
Rami Malek puts down an excellent version of Freddie Mercury, but all the actors play great in this movie
In my opinion best thing to do is ignore the criticism and go see it for yourself.
