3/10.

Felt super formulaic and without heart. Every trope and cliche you can think of and have seen a thousand times is in this movie. This movie just goes through the motions and is as flat as the screen it's played on.

Not awful, but, certainly not good. I really had no interest in going to see this, so, that certainly didn't help my viewing experience. Might be an enjoyable watch if you are very interested in the earl church.

5/10

9/10. They did this movie as well as they possibly could have. Definitely in the running for the best genre movie of the year (Which is what they should call that oscar that they decided to add. . . and then not).

Votes: 310,870 | Gross: $318.49M

It's hard to do a worthy follow-up to such an original movie. Deadpool was a phenomenon and rightfully so. This sequel just didn't quite do it for me. There were brilliant as well as hilarious moments, but, overall this movie just rang a little hollow and seemed like it was trying too hard. I highly disliked the way the movie started and that left a bad taste in my mouth that I couldn't get rid of. I could take or leave this one.

8/10. Another excellent installment to a now truly awesome second half of the franchise. A great continued story that surely has usurped it's dark and gritty British counter-part as the best spy-thriller narrative going.

Votes: 63,961 | Gross: $117.44M

5/10.

Was really looking forward to this one as a moviegoer who has really just started to get into horror and mainly because of this franchise. I mean, the entire movie was pointless. They could have cut to the last sequence which, in itself, was also bad and a cop-out but was the only "meaningful" story point for the franchise. Clearly there were too many cooks in the kitchen with this script. You would think James Wan would have made sure there was a decent product behind "the Nun", which going into this movie was the visceral face of his extremely successful and beloved franchise. This movie on the other hand, was pretty much a heap of trash. And that CGI at the end. . . Jesus. Talk about laughable.

18. Venom (2018)

Votes: 160,360 | Gross: $212.41M

8?

Obviously not a perfect movie, lol. But, hey, Tom hardy was incredible and it was thoroughly entertaining and original. And the end credit scene made me want to do that thing Andy Samberg does when he eats a grape. What can I say, I'm a sucker for a fun and action-packed genre movie with some characterization and original thought.

19. Halloween (I) (2018)
